Its name refers to one of the historical fortifications of the old town of Niemcza, where the vineyard is located. Basteja, originally designed by Albrecht Dürer, is synonymous with strength, security and progress.

At the foot of the Sowie Mountains, on the picturesque hills, from which there is a view of the medieval town of Niemcza, ripen in the southern sun of grapes of classic and modern vines. All these references became the basis for designing the illustration for this special winter label.

We wanted to convey the winter look and feel, but in a way that is associated with the brand and stands out from other wine bottles. As a centerpiece we used motif of bastaja surrounded by a stylized image of the snowy slopes, hills, trees and snowflakes in a slightly abstract and minimalist way. This formed one large illustration of the atmospheric winter landscape with a lot of intriguing details to discover.
